My thoughts exactly. And the bit about how he destroyed that other continent.
But i have to hand it to the game for actually having one good bit in it, the fate of Rurik. That did actually catch me by surprise. One good twist is way more that most games pull off.

To answer your question, no. Now, I have a question for you. Don't you think that this should have a big label saying "SPOILERS?"

I'm still stuck on the goddamn Thunderhead Keep mission! Every single time my party's healers are incapable of keeping Ironhammer alive AND making sure the whole party doesn't die.
I have come to the very observant conclusion that King Jalis Ironhammer and Prince Rurik are counterparts. Both charge into battle trusting everybody else to protect them because they're royalty, both talk too much, and both are sadly supposed to live throughout the mission. *glare*
I liked Jalis in the NORTHERN Shiverpeaks, he was just a cool-talking Maffia dwarf who stayed in his fortress and didn't bother me aside from talking too much. Now I'm ready to kill him myself.
Oh, and I knew Khilbron was evil. I mean, he talks the same way the Lich did, was obsessed with the undead while he was supposed to be advisor to the King of Orr - a nation which protected the HOLY CITY of Arah, and he wanted the Sceptre of Orr, which we had recently stolen from a lich who was extremely like him.
2+2=4?
|
It's not up to your party's healers to keep King Ironhammer alive. It's up to your party's tanks and damage dealers to keep the enemies away from the king. It is the monk's job to keep the party healthy enough to fight them off, and a good necro will make sure your high damage casters have enough blue juice to keep going with relatively little time to regenerate. I have done the mission 3x now and been successful every time.

Find me a person who is fooled by Vizier Khilbron and I will show you someone who doesn't know how to operate a computer.
Fooled could have meant anything. The title clearly states what it's about and anybody who clicks on hte thread will know what they're getting into.
This is the spoilers section. Click on a thread and expect to have your wildest answers revealed.

Notice the sticky at the top of this forum titled, "What happens when you leave the refridgerator open? SPOILAGE"
No thread in this forum needs to be specifically labeled as such, since all threads in this forum are expected to contain spoilers. "Tyrian Explorers' League" is one big spoiler zone. If the sticky isn't enough, it's also in the forum description:
Quote:
Share the details in the historical record for the ellucidation of all. Quest, Mission, and Exploration Discussion. Warning: Here be spoilers.

If you don't want spoilers, you shouldn't be in here.

That is the reason I wouldn´t have been surprised if I didn´t read it here!
I was surprised that he actually didn´t betrayed me in Sanctum Cay!
The title shouldn´t have a spoiler since you can see it, when browsing the forums, deciding where you want to go to read!

Actually,
Vizier Kihlbron is the dead version of Craig Kilborn, the ousted host of the Late Late Show. He came back from the future after he died and somehow ended up in Sanctum Cay...
Why do you think you hear that "Play that Funky Music White Boy" whenever he is in a cutscene...
DUH!

Lol, I second that. Without his being our friend, we wouldn't have chance to go to places we never went (desert/fire island), kill creatures whom we never met. He is our tour guide in a way. With him gone, our tour ends and no more new towns to visit. Oh, how I miss him....

It was obvious... they left so many hints, like that king in ascalon, he hates the white mantal because they "evil". That vizier summons undead (how obvious). I think everyone knew white mantle were evil anyway, just look at them lol.

I had the septor when we were suppose to give it to Khilbron, im like "nuh uh" to my party members, he wants it too bad and he looks evil. I ran away from my party with sprint cause all my party wanted me to give it to him way too eagerly as well. I said they were all evil and in cahoots with Khilbron.
After i sprinted i found a nice secluded area and dropped it in the ocean! not even Khilbron himself would be able to get it. How do you like that, GAME OVER mutha fooker! I win, ha!
It was then I new my party members were all evil as well. Cause they started cursing the hell outta me and quitting, probably trying to find another sucker that will give it to them.
ha!

ROFL! Haha this post made my day.
@Lord SuperVillain: Actually the white mantle/mursaat were good guys, not evil people with bad intentions. :P Although they did murder tons of innocent people..

It tricked me...
I beat Sanctum Cay about 30 times over the betas, and I got used to seeing him help me onto the boat every time.
I was a little suspicious when Khilbron and the the dwarf (forgot the name...) walked away from the portal after Thunderhead Keep, then IMMEDIATELY switched to Khilbron and Undead Rurik walking into it. I guess it kind of gave it away for me there.

Well, at the end of Thunderhead Keep, you listen to Vizier Khilbron talk for a while, then it cuts to the Lich walking into the portal. The only problem is it's incredibly obvious THEY HAVE THE EXACT SAME VOICE.

I wasn't fooled but after we found out his plan I did map back to Lion's Arch to tell the people there I was sorry, but I accidentally sent some titans to Lion's Arch to kill them all. Noone laughed...
